Legit can't believed I completed my internship! I still remember the time when I got called for this internship, I was actually feeling pretty dejected from the internship hunting process.. so I was telling myself not to set my hopes high.
I remember leaving the 14th floor of national library telling myself that I won't be able to secure this internship..and since I already started my holidays then, I told myself to go do happy things!! Like going to Muji and going to get this big cream puff from Raffles City basement. Then I decided to head home... but little did I know, I got a call from NLB telling them that I got accepted! I was legit so so so so happy cos that would mean I do not need to hunt for another job, and most important I finally secured myself an internship, in a government sector.
Fast forward 2 months plus later, I just feeling really really thankful for this opportunity to work with all the people I've crossed path with. I was given opportunities for many events and most importantly, I felt happy doing what I was doing. I definitely gained much more knowledge about how everything works in a government sector and the various departments that go about behind the libraries. And of course, I've grown as an individual and I'm so thankful for the friendships with our nice supervisors!!!!
