Finally!

I finally got it!!! Hahaha omgggg feels damn surreal that I'm really gonna study in NUS!! Actually when I really got it, it doesn't feel that exciting but I guess when I receive the package at the letter box I will feel more excited?? And the wait is really damn miserable one loh! So I'm really glad that at least the wait is over now! Hope my friends will get replies soon as well!! 

M A Y

The month of May seriously passed by pretty fast and before I know it, it's already mid may loh! So freaking fast!!! 

On the 4th may, went out to Jalan Jalan with Michelle! We were really out that whole Sunday and had Movie marathon ( sort of ) cos there's discount for Safra card member for SHAW! One for one on weekends which is super affordable so we decide to watch 2 movies! Before going to watch movie, we went to cedele to have brunch! Wanted to eat at Wild Honey but it was crowded and there was queue! We gave up cos we were too hungry so we went to cedele in the end! 

I are the same breakfast platter I had the last time I was there and it's super niceeee still! Hahaha, I'm quite a boring person but I will try the others the next time I'm there! 

Michelle tried this scones with scrambled eggs and it was okayokay only! Not worth it for the price!

We sat in front of this eat well • be well walk thingy and from my angle I just cannot capture the full words! That explains the missing L letter!

Headed over to Shaw and bought tickets for Brick mansions! There wasn't a particular movie we wanted to watch and that suited the timing so we decided to watch that! And because of our craving for KOI, we walked all the way back to somerset to get KOI and nearly missed the beginning of our movie! They should totally set up a KOI at orchard area! 

Don't really know how to describe the movie but it was nice! Like the ending was quite unexpected, but like so sad when they show the picture ' in living memory of Paul Walker'. 

Then we decided to go get tickets for another movie,  the other woman cos I've heard people saying it's nice and funny! 

We then went to walk around ion orchard and went to the basement to grab something to eat!

The super big fries chicken!! It's really super super big one loh!!

The other woman is a super funny show and everyone should go watch it! Cos it's so entertaining! And there were still a lot of people watching it that day! It's still in cinemas now so everybody should go watch! Hahaha 

After the movie it was quite late already so we headed home! Really a fun and relaxing day out that day and when I got home, I was really super tired already!!

6th may I had NUS interview and then went to meet Joselyn for lunch! Really nice catching up with her and we have so many plans that we wanted to do after A levels but have yet to do. But we both are busy with work and many other stuffs so I hope we can hang out more often!! 

8th may I met Dharshiney after work and we went to 49 seats at Chinatown area for dinner! The place is nice and have a very rustic feeling to it so in definitely going back to try their other food on the menu!

That's the menu and the best part of it is there's no GST charge so it makes the meal so much cheaper! And the food itself is not that expensive so it's actually really quite affordable 

I ordered seafood carbonara and it didn't disappoint me! The sauce wasn't the too cheesy or creamy kind and the taste was just right for me! And I didn't regret choosing seafood carbonara and classics carbonara cos the seafood taste really good! Like the texture of the prawns were really nice! I initially wanted classics carbonara but looking at the one dollar price difference I decided to go for seafood carbonara! 

Dharshiney ordered seafood tomyum pasta which is one of the must try on the menu and it's really nice and has a really unique taste! I find it quite spicy and it was alright for Dharshiney! We wanted to order escargots but it was sold out so we went for calamari instead which wasn't too bad as well!

After that, we walked all the way to Clarke quay and coincidentally we saw Dharshiney's friend, Enmin there! 

We took a photo together and it's quite nice right!!

Dharshiney and I then continued walking and finally settled down at a spot along the river and talked for a long long time till 11.30 then we headed home :) had a really nice chat with her and I hope our friendship lasts a long long long time! 

Gonna head to bed now, it's almost close to 1am and I have work at 8.30am tmr! Wearing my new shoes to work tmr yayyy!

Yayyyy so late everything is over! I finally finished all the interviews for my university admissions! Just finished my NUS interview and it went okay! Although there's a few questions that I didn't answer very well, but I felt that it went quite okay! Really hope I will get into NUS! And the people who interviewed are really nice :))))))) 

Gonna meet Joselyn now at Khatib for breakfast and I know it's gonna be a good good day today yayyyy!!

It's already May!

Hiiii people! Realised it's been a super long time since I updated cos it's already may?!!!! Like seriously can't believe 5 months have passed! I shall just post according to the pictures I have in my phone! Recently life has been ok! And received a good news that I got accepted by NTU!!!! And I'm going for NUS interview on Tuesday! Hope everything goes well next Tuesday! 

These were taken super super long ago when we went to NTU and NUS on 2 consecutive weekends during march! It was quite nice cos my friends can meet my other friends and we can all be friends! Hahahaha

The day where we met for Arnold's chicken! Hahaha I think it was a quite random meetup but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Always nice to meet up with them! 

The day where I met Shaheera and Siqi for dinner! We really got never ending topics to talk about!!!!

The day where our clique met and celebrated Heyu's birthday! Her tummy is so big now and can't wait for her baby boy to visit te world! It will be another whole new experience :)

The day where marshrooms met and celebrated Michelle's super super belated birthday! Hahahaha we bought a printer for her! How cool is that!! 

The day where I met Cass to eat laksa for lunch! Good catch up session with her!!! Can't wait to meet her along with Dharshiney after her exams! 

The day where me and Michelle helped an old lady who was lost! We wanted to go for ice cream at the daily scoops but ended up all the way at ang mo kio! The whole thing was abit dramatic and funny! We met the old lady at Yishun and she said she wanted to go to Amk! Then she said she wanted to go to a temple at Amk but we couldn't bear to leave her along to travel cos she's so old and seems abit blur alrdy so we followed her all the way there! Although we didn't manage to eat at the daily scoops but managed to eat the old school kind of ice cream from the uncle man :)

Back to my recent life, work has been pretty good with nice collagues and I am still contemplating whether to extend my contract till the end of June as my contract actually ends on 6th of June! Although there's still one more month away but I shall start considering first.. Life has been okay, meeting many friends next week and I can't wait! Can't wait for tmr as I'm spending the day out with Michelle! And also, yesterday I had the worse headache and fever with the combination of sore throat at work! Was feeling so sick but still had KFC for lunch cos my colleagues already ordered them. Fasterly went to visit the doctor after work and I'm feeling okay now already! And I think the antibiotics and te fever medicine worked well cos I'm no longer having sore throat already! Next week will be a pretty fun and busy week and I hope that the month of May will be goooooodddd! Many good plans happening ahead! ;)))))))
